What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Landlords served a valid N4 Notice and the Tenant did not void the notice by paying the arrears.

The ruling

The Landlords' application to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant for non-payment of rent is granted. The Tenant may void the order by paying $13,596 on or before July 16, 2024. If the Tenant does not pay, the tenancy is terminated and the Tenant must move out by July 16, 2024. The Tenant will also owe the Landlords $11,252.87 plus daily compensation of $48.99 from June 14, 2024 until the Tenant moves out.
