What happened

The Tenants filed for a review of a previous LTB order (March 26, 2025) which had granted their T2 application in part, awarding them over $4,000. The Tenants argued the original Member committed a serious error by constantly interrupting them and their legal representative, and by failing to examine all 1,319 pages of documentary evidence they submitted. The Landlord opposed the review, maintaining the original hearing was fair.

The ruling

The Tenants' request for review is denied. The original order issued on March 26, 2025, which awarded the Tenants $4,074.66, is confirmed and remains unchanged. The stay on that order is lifted immediately.
