What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant's failure to meet a condition specified in a previous LTB order. The previous order required the Tenant to pay $25.45 towards rent arrears by April 1, 2023, which the Tenant failed to do.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective June 3, 2023. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $305 in outstanding arrears and $3.91 per day in compensation starting May 24, 2023 until the Tenant vacates the unit. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by June 3, 2023, the Tenant will owe interest at 6% annually on the outstanding balance.
