What happened

Tenant applied for an order determining that the Landlords entered the rental unit illegally, altered the locking system without providing replacement keys, substantially interfered with the reasonable enjoyment of the rental unit, and harassed, obstructed, coerced, threatened or interfered with the Tenant.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay $400 in costs to each Landlord, and $300 in costs to the Board, by November 7, 2023. If the Tenant does not pay the full amounts by the deadline, they will start owing interest at 7% annually on the balance.
