What happened

Tenant 1 requested a review of a consent order that resolved a non-payment of rent application. Tenant 1 argued that the other three individuals listed as tenants were actually occupants and should not be held responsible for arrears. Additionally, Tenant 1 claimed a payment of $3,000.00 was made to the wrong email address provided by the Landlord prior to the hearing. The LTB reviewed the audio recording and the evidence submitted.

The ruling

The request to review the consent order issued on November 10, 2025, is denied. The original order remains unchanged and confirmed, as the Tenant failed to demonstrate a serious error or sufficient grounds to overturn a settlement agreement she freely entered into.
