What happened
Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant because the Landlords in good faith require possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation for at least one year by their daughter.
The ruling
The tenancy between the Landlords and the Tenant will be terminated effective September 30, 2023. The Landlords are required to pay the Tenant $840.00 as compensation for the N12 notice by August 31, 2023. If the Landlords do not make the payment, the tenancy will continue. If the unit is not vacated by September 30, 2023, the Landlords may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement.
