What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant because the Landlord in good faith requires possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation for at least one year.
The ruling
The tenancy between the Landlord and the Tenant is terminated as of May 31, 2025. The Tenant must move out of the rental unit on or before May 31, 2025. If the unit is not vacated by that date, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) to enforce the eviction. The Tenant may terminate the tenancy early at any time prior to May 31, 2025 by giving 14 days written notice to the Landlord. The Landlord waives entitlement to the costs of filing this application.
