What happened

The Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy after the Tenant breached a condition of a previous consent order. An eviction order was issued on March 10, 2025. The Tenant subsequently filed for a review of that order, claiming a serious error in procedure because the adjudicator did not permit closing submissions. The Tenant also requested an adjournment on the day of the review hearing because her legal representative was out of town without her case materials.

The ruling

The Tenant's request to review the order issued on March 10, 2025, is denied. The original order, which terminated the tenancy due to a breach of conditions, is confirmed. The stay on the eviction is lifted immediately, and the Tenant is required to vacate as previously ordered.
