What happened

The Landlord had obtained an eviction order (LTB-L-006669-25) without a hearing after the Tenants breached a condition of a previous order (LTB-L-026974-24) by failing to make a $200.00 payment towards damages. The Tenants then filed a motion to set aside this eviction order. The current hearing addresses the Tenants' motion.

The ruling

The Tenants' motion to set aside the eviction order is denied. The original order (LTB-L-006669-25) remains in effect. The stay on this eviction order is lifted as of June 15, 2025, allowing the Landlord to proceed with the eviction after this date.
