What happened

At the hearing, the Landlord chose to only pursue the claim for compensation for undue damage regarding carpet stains and drywall patchwork. The ruling

The Former Tenant is ordered to pay the Landlord $1,007.38, which includes $821.38 for carpet replacement costs and $186.00 for the LTB filing fee. The claim for drywall repair was dismissed as ordinary wear and tear. If the amount is not paid by October 7, 2025, interest will accrue at a rate of 4.00% annually.
