What happened
The Landlords applied to terminate the tenancy because the Tenants failed to meet a condition in a mediated settlement from February 19, 2025. An initial order (LTB-L-031603-25) was issued without a hearing on April 30, 2025. Tenant 1 filed a motion to set aside that order. At the hearing for the motion, the parties reached a consent agreement regarding the outcome.
The ruling
The Tenant's motion to set aside the eviction order was denied by consent. The original order (LTB-L-031603-25), which involves the termination of the tenancy and payment of rent arrears, remains in effect and unchanged. However, the stay on that order is lifted on July 31, 2025.
