What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to their failure to meet a condition specified in a previous LTB order. The Tenants had failed to pay rent and the required monthly payments as ordered.

The ruling

The Tenancy is terminated effective June 30, 2023. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $8,065.14 plus $78.44 per day starting May 20, 2023 until the Tenants vacate the unit. If the full amount is not paid by June 30, 2023, the Landlord can seek enforcement of the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) starting July 1, 2023.
