What happened
Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant seriously impairing the safety of others and willfully causing undue damage to the property. The Tenant smashed a glass window in the office, causing the glass to spray into the office where staff were working. The Tenant was arrested and charged with mischief.
The ruling
The Landlord's application is granted in part. The tenancy will continue subject to the Tenant complying with conditions for one year. If the Tenant breaches the conditions, the Landlord may apply to terminate the tenancy without notice to the Tenant. The Tenant must pay the Landlord's $186 application filing fee.
