What happened
Cedar Springs Motel and Cedar Springs Motel (the 'Landlord') applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Matthew Williams and Emma Grifith (collectively the 'Tenant') because the Tenant did not pay the rent owed.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant voids the order by paying $35,036 by July 20, 2024, $35,686 by July 27, 2024, or $36,336 by July 30, 2024. If the Tenant does not void the order, they must move out by July 30, 2024 and pay the Landlord $33,921.20 plus daily compensation of $92.60 starting July 9, 2024.
