Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent. The parties reached an agreement during mediation.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective March 31, 2025. The Tenants must pay the Landlords $30,512.95 in rent arrears by March 31, 2025. If the Tenants fail to make the payment, the Landlords may apply to the LTB for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenants. The Tenants must also pay compensation of $88.77 per day if they do not vacate the unit by March 31, 2025.
