What happened

The Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Landlord also claimed charges related to NSF cheques.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $13,302.27 in rent arrears and costs by making a series of payments, including lump sum payments from social service organizations and monthly payments towards the remaining arrears. The Tenant shall also continue to pay the monthly rent in full. If the Tenant fails to make any of the required payments, the Landlord may apply to the Board for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenant.
