What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant's failure to meet certain conditions specified in a previous order issued by the LTB.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective July 2, 2023. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $20,156.29 (less any payments made after the application was filed) by July 2, 2023, representing the rent arrears, application filing fee from the previous order, less the rent deposit and interest owed on the deposit. The Tenant must also pay the Landlord $58.22 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting June 22, 2023 until the Tenant moves out.
