What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant because the Tenant, another occupant of the rental unit or someone the Tenant permitted in the residential complex has substantially interfered with the reasonable enjoyment or lawful right, privilege or interest of the Landlord or another tenant. The Landlord alleged that the Tenant failed to prepare her unit for pest control on multiple occasions.

The ruling

The tenancy shall continue subject to conditions that the Tenant ensure her unit is prepared for pest control pursuant to the Landlord's instructions for a period of two years commencing September 1, 2024. The Tenant shall also pay the Landlord $186.00 for the cost of filing the application by September 15, 2024.
