What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Tenant did not void the N4 Notice by paying rent arrears and was absent from the hearing.

The ruling

Unless the Tenant voids the order by paying $8,798.02 by July 14, 2024, the tenancy will be terminated. If not voided, the Tenant must move out and pay $8,055.42 to the Landlord, plus daily compensation of $9.44 starting June 18, 2024.
