What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Landlord also applied to terminate the tenancy due to substantial interference, but withdrew this application as the Tenant had vacated the unit.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant pays $17,236 by April 30, 2023 or $18,336 by May 7, 2023 to void the order. If the Tenant does not pay, they must vacate the unit by May 7, 2023 and pay the Landlord $14,189.12 in rent arrears and application costs.
