What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent. Tenant did not void the N4 Notice by paying rent arrears and was absent from the hearing.
The ruling
Unless the Tenant voids the order by paying $24,512.66 by July 14, 2024, the tenancy will be terminated and the Tenant must vacate the unit. If not voided, Tenant owes Landlord $21,280.02 plus daily compensation of $43.64 per day starting June 19, 2024.
