What happened

Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant committing illegal acts and seriously impairing the safety of other tenants in the residential complex. The Landlord alleged the Tenant had a loud party and assaulted another tenant on April 19, 2022, and then stabbed another tenant on May 11, 2022.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective January 8, 2023. The Tenant must vacate the rental unit by this date. If the unit is not vacated, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $186 for the application filing fee.
