What happened

The landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the tenant because the tenant did not meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the LTB on May 16, 2023, with respect to application LTB-L-070783-22. The tenant failed to pay $500 towards rent arrears by the due date of June 1, 2023.

The ruling

The tenant must also pay the landlord $23.93 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting June 28, 2023 until the tenant moves out.
