What happened

The ruling

The Landlord's applications to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenants are granted. The Tenants must vacate the rental unit by May 6, 2024 and pay the Landlord $12,002.55, which includes rent arrears and application filing fees, minus the rent deposit and interest. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by May 6, 2024, they will owe interest at 7% annually on the outstanding balance.
