What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenants because the Landlord in good faith requires possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation for at least one year.

The ruling

The Landlord is entitled to an eviction order. The Tenants must move out by June 30, 2024. If the unit is not vacated by then, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement. The last month's rent deposit shall be applied to the last month of the tenancy, and the Landlord shall provide the Tenants any amount owed with respect to the interest on the deposit.
