What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to substantial interference with the reasonable enjoyment or lawful right, privilege or interest of the Landlord or another tenant. The Landlord alleged that the rental unit was not in a state of ordinary cleanliness, was cluttered, and posed a risk to safety and public health.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective November 13, 2021. The Tenant must move out by that date and pay the Landlord $215.36, which includes compensation for use of the unit after the termination date and the application filing fee. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by November 13, 2021, the Tenant will start owing interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
