What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to persistent late payment of rent. The Tenant was not present or represented at the hearing.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated as of June 30, 2021. The Tenant must move out by June 30, 2021 and pay the Landlord $34.06 per day for use of the unit from June 18, 2021 until the Tenant moves out. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount owed by June 30, 2021, the Tenant will start owing interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance starting July 1, 2021. If the unit is not vacated by June 30, 2021, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement.
