What happened
Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant committing illegal acts and seriously impairing the safety of others in the residential complex. The Tenant allegedly threw dirty needles off the balcony, removed smoke detectors, and threw a bicycle and suitcase off the balcony.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective March 7, 2022, and the Tenant must vacate the unit by that date. The Tenant is ordered to pay the Landlord $186 for the application filing fee. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by March 7, 2022, the Tenant will owe interest starting March 8, 2022 at 2% annually on the outstanding balance. If the unit is not vacated by March 7, 2022, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) to enforce the eviction.
