What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Tenant did not void the N4 Notice by paying the arrears. The Tenant lost her rent subsidy and has been working to have it reinstated.

The ruling

The tenancy will be terminated unless the Tenant voids the order by paying $15,643.00 by March 30, 2023. If not voided, the Tenant must move out by March 30, 2023, and pay $13,417.05 plus $25.81 per day from January 6, 2023, until move-out. The eviction order expires on September 16, 2023, if not filed with the Sheriff.
