What happened

The Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant committing an illegal act, seriously impairing the safety of another person, and wilfully or negligently causing undue damage to the premises.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective November 30, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $1,426.17 for the cost of replacing the damaged door and $186.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by November 30, 2021, the Tenant will start to owe interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
