What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant because the Landlord in good faith requires possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation for at least one year. The Landlord also claimed compensation for each day the Tenant remained in the unit after the termination date.
The ruling
The hearing was adjourned to the next available date to be set by the Board. The next hearing date will be peremptory on the Tenant. The Tenant shall file with the Board their documentary evidence from their legal representative that withdrew from representation the week of May 23, 2022 by no later than June 15, 2022. The parties shall disclose all of their evidence on each other and file the same with the Board by no later than June 30, 2022.
