What happened

Landlord applied for an order requiring Tenant to pay the rent that the Tenant owes. The Landlord also claimed NSF cheque charges and related administration charges.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $7,095.00 in rent arrears, $60.00 in NSF cheque administration charges, and $201.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by May 3, 2021, the Tenant will start to owe simple interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
