What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to committing an illegal act and seriously impairing the safety of others in the residential complex. The Landlord submitted video evidence of a violent altercation between the Landlord and Tenant Kyle Bonnington, where Bonnington assaulted the Landlord.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective May 11, 2021. The Tenants must vacate the rental unit by this date. The Tenants are ordered to pay the Landlord $201 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenants do not vacate by May 11, 2021, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement.
