Tenant applied for orders determining that Landlord collected or retained money illegally and harassed, obstructed, coerced, threatened or interfered with the Tenant.

The ruling

The T1 application is dismissed as the tenancy did not lawfully terminate until May 31, 2020, so it was not illegal for the Landlord to apply the Tenant's rent deposit to the rent for April 2020. The Landlord does not owe the Tenant interest on the deposit. The T2 application is dismissed as the Tenant's claims for moving expenses and costs were not supported by the evidence.
