What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after serving a valid Notice to End Tenancy Early for Non-payment of Rent (N4 Notice), which the tenants did not void by paying the arrears. The tenants did not attend the hearing.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenants void the order by paying the specified amounts. If not voided, Tenants must move out by March 7, 2023, and pay $24,058.94 plus $105.21 per day from February 15, 2023, until they vacate. The Landlords may file for eviction enforcement starting March 8, 2023, if the unit is not vacated.
