What happened

Landlord filed two applications: L1 for non-payment of rent and L2 for persistent late payment of rent. Tenants failed to pay rent from March 1, 2021, to December 31, 2021, and were persistently late in paying rent for 9 consecutive months starting April 1, 2021.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective February 20, 2022. Tenants must pay $22,967.09 plus $78.58 per day from February 10, 2022, until they vacate. Tenants can void the eviction order by paying $28,180.00 on or before February 20, 2022. If not paid, the Sheriff may enforce the eviction from February 21, 2022.
