What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant, another occupant or someone Tenant permitted causing undue damage, substantially interfering with the Landlord's or another tenant's reasonable enjoyment, and committing an illegal act or carrying out an illegal trade, business or occupation involving illegal drugs.
The ruling
The parties reached an agreement, with the Tenant ordered to pay the $200 outstanding garbage invoice and $186 filing fee by October 11, 2021. The Tenant is also prohibited from causing damage, possessing illegal drugs or prohibited weapons, and allowing certain individuals to enter the residential complex for 12 months. The Landlord may apply to terminate the tenancy if the Tenant breaches the order.
