What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to the Tenant, another occupant, or someone the Tenant permitted, wilfully or negligently causing undue damage to the premises, and substantially interfering with the reasonable enjoyment or lawful right, privilege or interest of the Landlord or another tenant.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective July 25, 2019. The Tenant must move out by January 31, 2021. The Tenant is ordered to pay the Landlord $2,740.79 for repair costs, $5,578.99 for compensation for use of the unit, and $175 for the application fee. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by January 26, 2021, the Tenant will start owing interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
