What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to persistent late payment of rent and because the Landlord requires possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation by her in-laws.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective September 4, 2021. The Tenant must vacate the unit by that date. The Tenant is ordered to pay the Landlord $186 for the application filing fee. If the Tenant does not vacate by September 4, 2021, the Tenant will owe the Landlord $96.99 per day in compensation until the unit is vacated.
