What happened
Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent. The Landlords served a valid Notice of Termination effective November 21, 2019 due to rent arrears. The Tenants were in possession of the rental unit at the time of the hearing, but did not attend.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective September 5, 2020. The Tenants must pay the Landlords $14,348.50 plus $65.75 per day starting August 26, 2020 until they vacate the unit. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by September 5, 2020, the Landlords may file the order with the Sheriff to enforce the eviction.
