What happened
Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant's involvement in illegal drug activity in the rental unit and residential complex, which seriously impaired the safety of other tenants.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective April 30, 2021. The Tenant must vacate the unit by that date and pay the Landlord $1,669.39, which includes compensation for use of the unit and the application filing fee. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by April 12, 2021, they will owe interest. If the unit is not vacated by April 30, 2021, the Landlord can file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement.
