What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to meet conditions specified in a previous LTB order. The Tenant failed to pay the lawful monthly rent on time and did not pay the full rent arrears as ordered.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective July 1, 2023. The Tenant must pay $29,594.40 to the Landlord, representing rent arrears up to June 20, 2023, and the cost of filing the previous application. Additionally, the Tenant must pay $44.22 per day from June 21, 2023, until they vacate the unit. If the Tenant does not move out by July 1, 2023, the Landlord may file for eviction enforcement starting July 2, 2023.
