What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant causing undue damage to the rental unit, substantially interfering with the reasonable enjoyment of the Landlord and other tenants, and seriously impairing the safety of others.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective September 27, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $999.00 for the cost of repairing the damage, $430.00 for compensation for use of the unit, and an additional $5.00 per day from September 23, 2021 until the Tenant vacates the unit. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by September 27, 2021, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement.
