What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to persistent late payment of rent. The Tenants have been persistently late in paying their rent.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated, and the Tenants must vacate the rental unit by February 27, 2022. If the unit is not vacated by that date, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $186 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by February 27, 2022, they will start owing interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
