What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants because the rental unit is the superintendent's premises and the Tenant's employment as superintendent has ended.

The ruling

The tenancy between the Landlord and the Tenants is terminated. The Tenants must move out of the rental unit on or before August 2, 2022. The Tenants shall pay $5,964.84 to the Landlord in respect of compensation for the Tenants' use of the rental unit from March 8, 2022 up to and including May 31, 2022. The Tenants shall also pay to the Landlord $186.00 for the cost of filing the application. The Tenants shall also pay to the Landlord $70.01 per day for compensation for the use of the unit from June 1, 2022 to the date they move out of the unit and give possession back to the Landlord.
