What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The Tenant had paid all arrears owing for the period ending October 31, 2020 after the application was filed, but the only amount still outstanding was the Landlord's cost of filing the application.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $175.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by November 14, 2020, the Tenant will start to owe simple interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
