What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to substantial interference with the reasonable enjoyment or lawful right, privilege or interest of the Landlord or another tenant. The Landlord alleged that the Tenants refused to move their vehicles, their dogs barked persistently, and there were complaints about noise, odors, and one tenant moving out due to the Tenants' behavior.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective July 5, 2021. The Tenants must vacate the unit by that date and pay the Landlord $225.16, which includes $39.16 per day in compensation for use of the unit after the termination date and the $186 application fee. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by July 5, 2021, they will owe interest starting July 6, 2021 at 2% annually on the outstanding balance. If the unit is not vacated by July 5, 2021, the Landlord may file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement.
