What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant because the Tenant entered into an agreement to terminate the tenancy.
The ruling
The tenancy between the Landlord and Tenant is terminated as of February 28, 2022. The Tenant must move out of the rental unit on or before February 28, 2022. If the unit is not vacated by that date, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) to enforce the eviction. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $201.00 for the cost of filing the application, and if the amount is not paid by February 28, 2022, the Tenant will owe interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
