What happened

The Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant because the Tenant failed to meet a condition specified in the mediated settlement issued by the Board on July 24, 2020 with respect to application TSL-11254-19. The Landlord alleged the Tenant was smoking cigarettes in his room and on the residential complex, in breach of the mediated agreement.

The ruling

The motion to set aside the previous order terminating the tenancy was denied. The stay of the previous order is lifted on April 30, 2021, giving the Tenant additional time beyond what he requested to vacate the rental unit.
