What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent. The Tenants were in possession of the rental unit on the application date and had not paid the rent for January 2020.

The ruling

The order is limited to the landlord's application filing fee of $175, which the tenants must pay by September 6, 2020. If the tenants do not pay the full amount by that date, they will start owing interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
